My mom and I were very busy when she came out here!! Which if anyone knows us we always have a project going on when she is here. Heres a couple pictures of just 2 of the 20 million things we did while she was here. Its so fun when she comes and we wish she lived closer! This pictures is of an old chair we got and my mom redid it. Its in our bedroom and matches perfect I LOVE this chair!!!

The other picture is of a coffee table I redid. I'm mad I didn't take a before picture but it was white on the bottom, white on top with a painted brown square in the middle of it. It turned out so cute!!

Porter had a Car themed party. He Loves cars and was so excited about his car cakes. When they were cut into he kept looking at them sad saying " Oh NO cars!!" He is running around everywhere and talking full sentences. He is 27.2 lbs which is in the 37% and he is 34.5 inches tall and in the 50%. For the most part Lexi and Porter get along but the do tend to have their tiffs :) Porter is the sweetest little boy and will be running and playing and in the middle of it run over just to give me sweet porter kisses and hugs. Happy Birthday Bubba!

Easter was fun this year especially since porter is now CRAWLING! On Saturday we went to the ward Easter egg hunt. It was freezing outside so porter and i stayed in the car for most of it. After wards we came home and did some Easter crafts. Dyed Easter eggs and made a bunny cake and flower cupcakes. I made lexi the purple shirt she is wearing with the egg on it.
Easter morning was fun, Lexi didn't wake up until 830 which is sleeping in for her. The Easter bunny hid the baskets but left a cute note for Lexi and porter telling them to hip-pity hop all over the front room to find their baskets. We hope everyone had a great Easter weekend!!!

This year for Christmas we decided to just have our own little Christmas instead of traveling with presents. Lexi and Porter were so cute this year. This was Porters first Christmas and he was so excited. Every time we would open his present and give it to him he would sit smile and talk to it. Lexi was more excited that SANTA ate her cookies.

Lexi dancing to one of her lil dance songs. She loves dance and was soo excited when her teacher gave her a cd of the songs they do in class. We have probably listened to it a million times and she has danced to it every time. I didn't video it until it was like her 10th time so shes not HALF excited about it anymore lol. Enjoy! :)

This Halloween was a busy one for us. Paul's parents had a HUGE dinner at their house with a pinata and trick or treating in grandpas Dracula cape. It was cute but Lexi was Deathly afraid of Grandpa and wouldn't go near him.

Lexi and Quinns Birthday Party

Lexi and Quinn ( her best friend) had a combined birthday party this year. Quinn's birthday is on Halloween so they are just a week apart. We invited a few of the neighbor kids. It was fun. They painted pumpkins, ate pizza, played pin the tale on the donkey, had cupcakes and opened presents. They are so cute!

So, who would have thought i would enjoy quilting?!?! My mom came out back in June and got me into it. This is my first quilt. I'm thinking about starting a business doing crib bedding and children's bedding.. just a thought right now but maybe in the future. I have a few other quilts i need to get machine quilted so i'll post them when they are all done.

This quilt lexi picked out all the fabric and i hand quilted it.

GOOD NEWS!!!!

We got the okay to take Porter off of oxygen on Tuesday!!! WOO HOO! We had a little bit of a scare though. Porters low heart rate kept going off for about 5days in a row at night for about a half hour to an hour. I called the doctor and they wanted to see him. I took him in and they said everything sounded fine etc. So they switched out the machine thinking maybe it was that, it still went off. I called the doctor and they sent me straight to timpanogos hospital for a chest xray and an EKG. They also had Praxair come and lower the low heart rate from 80 to 60 now. A few days later we got the results back from the hospital and the chest xray came back normal but the EKG came back abnormal. We were sent to primary children's up in SLC. We got the okay for porter to come off oxygen as long as the cardiologist said it was okay. So on Tuesday we went to meet with the cardiologist, they did another EKG.. the doctor came in and said everything looked normal. He can come off oxygen, but they sent us home with a 24 hour EKG just to be safe. We will find out the results for the in the next few weeks. Wish us luck!!

Fourth of July was fun this year. We had a BBQ at our house with Brandon and Justins family. It was fun for all of us to get together since its been quite awhile. Lexi loved playing with her cousins.

Lexi and Zach were scared of the fireworks at first, so Zach wore earphones to drown out the noise and Lexi was brave but only with her sunglasses on!

Porters Blessing

My lil handsome man! We took him off oxygen for his blessing.

We had to take him off to do an overnight test anyways so it worked out perfect.

My parents were able to come out and stay with us for a week, we really enjoyed having them here and as always were sad to see them leave. Lexi chased my parents car as they were leaving. How sad! You guys need to move closer!! We miss you!!

We had porters baby blessing June 18th. Since he is still on oxygen and we are advised not to go to church with him we decided to have it at our house as we did Lexi's. It worked out great with just close family and the bishop. We had desserts after words. Paul did a great job hes such a great daddy and wonderful husband. I'm so grateful to have a worthy husband who can bless our children. Porter looked so adorable in his lil suit. I can't complain at all about Porter he has been an amazing baby. He's soo sweet and cuddly. He LOVES Lexi and she loves him just as much. Whenever he is crying if Lexi comes and talks to him he stops and smiles .. its precious. I'm so blessed to have such a wonderful lil family!

Thought i would update this quick while i have a second. Porter is still on oxygen. We did a test last Saturday to see how is oxygen levels are with out it and they were still a little low. His blood oxygen level is supposed to be above 90 at all times, his was in the 80s a little bit. The doctor thinks he will have to be on oxygen for 2 more months. He is going to do another test in a month and see how he does. I will post more about him and Lexi and hopefully get some Easter pictures up. More to come when i have a chance :)

As Lexi says while pushing the baby swing... ( luckily Porter wasnt in it!!) Porter came home yesterday after being in the hospital for 16 days!! He is doing well. Hes on oxygen like Lexi was and an apnea monitor. We arent sure how long they anticipate he will be on it but we will know more when we take him to the pediatrician. Hes soo sweet and cute. I'll post more pictures when i have a chance. ( By the way we are wearing masks because if he gets sick at all he will have to go back to the hospital, and of course we all got sick!!)

Here are a few more recent pictures of Porter hooked up to some of the machines. The only difference from this picture is he has a pick line in his head to put medicine in. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. They are waiting for some more lab results to come back. They seem to think he does have an infection and the good news is his white blood cell count is looking better which means they aren't having to fight the infection as much. So what they are doing is a step in the right direction. This is pretty much the same EXACT thing Lexi went threw and we are very confident and comfortable with these doctors here and know he is in good hands!

Porter Ryan McCoy

April 15th 2009 at 7:52pm Porter Ryan McCoy arrived. He was 5lbs 14 oz and 17 1/2 inches long. He is tiny especially since Lexi was a whole 2lbs bigger and an inch and a half longer. We went to a doctors appointment Wednesday morning with Dr. Wold and everything looked great. We have been meeting with a perionatologist and going in for non stress tests 2 times a week for the past month. We met with the perionatologist after our appointment with Dr. Wold and in the AFI he noticed Porter was measuring small. He was only measuring 36 weeks and 1 day when I was supposed to be almost 38 weeks. He was worried my placenta wasn't nourishing him enough and he would be better out then in. We went straight from the appointment to Labor and Delivery. We were VERY shocked and I think still are in shock that we really had a baby. I was induced at 130pm and was dilated to a 3 for 5 hours then went straight to complete. I pushed 3 times and the little guy was out. It was such an easy delivery that of course he has some health problems! He has respiratory problems and is in the NICU right now but doing okay. We will keep you posted as we find out more.

Very Quick Update..

Paul and I met with the Perinatologist on Wednesday. He did a throw ultrasound and found that the baby is a BOY for sure and that it is fine and healthy. He weighs 5lbs 2oz which is in the 34% so perfect. He also has hair :) They were worried he might be big from the diabetes but he isn't. I meet with him again April 15th he will do another ultrasound and then we will figure out delivery plans. I go in every week to the hospital for stress tests as well. That's about it for now. I'll keep you posted when i find out more!

Disney on Ice!!!

We took Lexi to Mickey and Minnies Magical Adventures on Ice. She was so excited to go. The whole time we were there she had a huge smile and was in heaven. She was such a big girl and knew exactly what was going on. At one point Tinkerbell drank some poison milk and everyone had to clap their hands to make her feel better. She STILL talks about that and how she made Tinkerbell better. She clapped and sang and every time mickey and Minnie would leave the stage she would yell BYE BYE! She is seriously the cutest sweetest girl in the world!

So I thought I would do a quick pregnancy update. Last Monday I was told I have gestational diabetes. So they had me meet with a dietitian and gave me a monitor to prick my finger 4 times a day. So i did that for a week, went in and met with the dietitian again and found out my fasting blood sugar level is high. Which means its a hormonal thing. My blood sugar gets really low during the night so my body lets out its own sugar but to much. So they put me on this medicine i take once in the morning. Yesterday was the first day i took it. They told me they would give me a higher dosage and if my blood sugar gets to low to cut the pill in half. So yesterday i tool it and my blood sugar level got to 72 and stayed there no matter how much sugar i ate. It made me feel VERY shaky and light headed. It really actually scared me. Today i cut the pill in half and i haven't had to many problems, so far. Anyways, other news they did another ultrasound on March 9th. They wanted to make sure the placenta moved since it was partial privea, which it did so i don't have to have a csection for sure. Still no BOY for sure. He is breached and facing in. So his lil bum is below my pelvic bone so he couldn't see anything. The doctor said there is still plenty of time for him to turn but if he doesn't he will try to move him by pushing on my stomach. If he wont turn then i will need a csection. I have another appointment on Monday so hopefully everything going great. I will keep you informed as i know more.

Lexi is obsessed with "helping" mommy cook! Every time I'm making breakfast, lunch and dinner she wants to be right there with me in the kitchen making water.. which she calls "Mommy's Special!" She SO cute and i love every minute of it even when i have to clean up the sometimes HUGE mess. (that's why we only use water) Its amazing how they want to be just like you. I hope she stays this age FOREVER!! I guess i can always hope right?!?!

Last Saturday-Sunday Lexi had a temp of 102. She was sooo sweet and would cuddle. Here is a couple cute pictures of her falling asleep holding Daddies arm how cute!

A quick update.... Lexis good friend Quinn moved like a week or so ago and she has been sad ever since. Thinking that she is only 2 i would have never imagined some of the things shes said to me.

One: Quinn move .. I sad mommy, i give Quinn kisses!

Two: Outside.. She starts taking of running full speed saying i go to Quinn's house!!

Three: Any phone she sees she picks up and says I call Quinn mommy!

Four: I miss Quinn!

Five: Lexi what do you want to do, "I go to Quinn's new house!!"

I didn't think she would get it but i now know she realizes something isn't right. Here are a few pictures of some fun times with Quinn!! Needless to say he only moved across the freeway, so its only a quick trip to go see him!

Of course I didn't take many pictures at all this year of valentines day, but i did manage to get a cute one of Lexi! Valentines day was a hectic day but a fun one! In the morning we ended up running a few places but after that we hung out with each other at home, the mall, and a few other places. Lexi had a blast on the carousel at the mall and kept saying Happy Valentines Day, i get a present!!! It was cute! We gave her a heart lollipop bouquet and she thought she was in heaven! I love that she is SO happy with the little things, shes my sweet lil girl!!

Every time we go to my parents Paul ALWAYS asks for pretzel rolls from this place in mifflinburg! Knowing they are Paul's favorite I was searching the Internet for a recipe or debating whether or not to have my mom overnight some to me for him for Valentines day! I called my little brother who is a great cook and little did I know he had a recipe for them!!! They turned out soo good and were really simple to make! Paul was a pretty happy camper and I think he ate a dozen of them in an hour!! He thinks he needs a fresh batch of these a day! HAHA!

Lexis favorite place to go is Kangaroo Zoo!!! She can do everything by herself including the 3 story high slide. She just climbs up the little ladder like shes a grown up. Its super cheap only $3 for how ever long you want to be there. Every time we leave she says do it again. She' s so cute and i can't believe how fast she is growing up. We went there this past Saturday and ordered pizza and just let her run and play.

We had Christmas at Paul parents this year. Lexi was so excited for Christmas she didn't fall asleep till 3am. She was excited that Santa was going to eat her cookie she left out, excited for presents and just excited cuz everyone else was excited. It was a long night for us but it was worth it to see the smile on her face as she would open her presents. This year was probably the funnest with her since she kind of got what was going on.

She loved all her presents and wants santa to bring more she says. Can't wait till next year :) Hope everyone had a great Christmas and a Happy New Year!!

On Christmas Eve, Amanda was doing glitter nails at her parents. Lexi a few weeks before got her toes done and wouldn't stop talking about them. She wanted her finger nails done so bad, and that whole day kept asking Amanda to do them. Amanda was a good sport and did them even though Lexi didn't want to hold as still as Amanda needed her too. But, they still turned out adorable and Lexi still talks about them and how they are so pretty!! Shes not girly at all huh?!?

Lexi looked so adorable in her Church Christmas outfit i had to take a picture. I can't believe how much she is growing up. From talking in full sentences, counting to ten, and even saying her ABC. She truly is the sweetest little girl and I am very grateful for her in my life!!

So as most of you know we had our ultrasound appointment yesterday. We were so excited to finally know and plan for this baby. The baby is totally healthy, just measuring small, as did Lexi. They ended up changing my due date which stinks but all the matters it that the baby is healthy so if it needs to cook a little longer I'm okay with that. So i am due May 11th now not the 2nd. Now to the part everyone wants to know.. Its a boy!! Paul and I are super excited. Paul is excited to have a little buddy and is so cute about it. I guess I need to go buy some boy stuff EVERYTHING I have is VERY girly haha!

Paul and I find out what we are having December 15th. We are so excited to finally know and finally start decorating :) This pregnancy we have no idea what we are having. With Lexi, Paul and I both knew/had a feeling we were having a girl pretty much from day one. All the dreams i had or baby book it was always girls or referred to my baby is a she. This one nothing, i had one dream but i had twins and one was a boy and the other a girl.. no help there.
If you ask Lexi is mom having a girl or a boy.. she says Girl, Sydnee a princess. So that's her guess.. Whats yours??? gIrL or bOy?!?!

Christmas time...

Every time we get in the car Lexi starts saying "MORE LIGHTS!!" She loves the Christmas lights and cant get enough of them. The neighbors had their tree up before thanksgiving and Lexi would sit at the window for hours saying Christmas tree. So, we couldn't wait long to put ours up. Lexi loved helping us decorate and loves to dance and sing to Christmas music. She is so excited about Christmas and Santa! Its cute how now shes finally getting it. I think this Christmas is going to be a blast!

I didn't take any pictures this year of thanksgiving and i got these few pictures quick before the battery died in my camera. I need to be better at the whole picture thing.

Lately Lexi will kiss my tummy and say hi and sing songs to the baby. Today we were watching barney on my bed and she came over and put her ear to my tummy. My stomach growled and she goes.." Baby tooten!!" I thought i was going to die laughing. Lexi thought it was soo cool. ( yeah sad its my little girl that thinks thats sooo cool) After that she put her blanket on it and said mommy babys cold. I think she is going to be a HUGE help when we have this baby and maybe a little too much help. But Lexi is so cute about everything and cant wait to be a big sister!!

On saturday my friend Ashlee and I went to the NKOTB concert! Honestly one of the best concerts Ive been too. Natasha Bedingfield and Lady Gaga opened up for them. We were on the floor row 48 and snuck up to row 20, which was good because we couldn't see much were we first were. They sang all their old school songs plus two new ones. WAY TO COME BACK NKOTB!!

When we woke up this morning, Paul went to get Lexi a drink and came back amazed there was 6 inches of snow and it was still snowing hard. Before Paul went to work he shoveled the drive way and Lexi wanted to help so bad! Her gloves from last year don't even go on anymore but she insisted she go outside with her daddy. She did pretty good for awhile until she grabbed the snow. She started crying and came to the front door. I got her inside snuggled with her and made her hot chocolate ( which she loved) and watched Mickey Mouse club house.. What a fun morning!!

Halloween was a busy day for us!! Lexi had a birthday party for Quinn to go to and then trick or treating!!! Lexi was the cutest little fairy ( well she called herself a butterfly!!). She was so excited to go Trick or Treating!! We went for an hour and a half total and she still didn't want to stop!! We would say want to go home and she would say "NO!". She had a little sugar rush and was up till 11 pm, but i guess that's the fun of Halloween right?!?!

So i have tons of pictures from Lexis two parties on her birthday. So i thought i would do a few posts. I'll start with the cake. The first time i've made cake from scratch, made fondant, and icing from scratch too. Lets just say it may be my first and only time doing this. I get bored of doing stuff after awhile and lets just say after the 4th hour i was ready to quit. I had to make two batches of cakes, two things of fondant and it just took way longer than i thought. I started making the cakes at 10:30am and finally finished the whole thing at 5:30 pm. Its a good thing it turned out soo cute and good, or i might have cried.

October 24th is quickly approaching AGAIN!!! My sweet Lil peanut will be 2! It really is going to be a sad day i think for me. Its crazy how fast they grow up. It feels like i just had her 1st birthday. Anyways, we decided to get her pictures done. Amanda ( my sister in law) took her pictures and bless her heart stuck in there while Lexi cried, pitched a fit, and wanted nothing to do with the pictures. She really did a great job and I'm SO happy with the out come of what was supposed to be a fun day ended up being more work then fun. Lets just say its a good thing for barney songs, that seemed to be the only way to get her to smile. Here are a few of the like 50 pictures i love that she took.

Lexi looks like she could be 5 in the pictures, all grown up. We truly have been blessed to have such a sweet loving girl in our family.

Scarecrow Festival

Yesterday we went to Thanksgiving Point for there scarecrow festival. There was so much to do and we were actually there for 4 hours. Lexi had a blast and didn't want to leave. Its so fun to have all this so close to our house.

That's right.. Paul and I are expecting number two on May 2, 2009. We went to the doctor today and i was put in the ultrasound room so they did a quick one. We were worried a little bit about things just because of the miscarriage before Lexi, so we didn't really get to excited. Until after the appointment when we were reassured everything was okay. I am 9 weeks along and been feeling okay actually. I've been nauseous off and on but not to the point of throwing up( which is in someways worse) and just been really tired. Sorry for the people who find out on here i just haven't had a chance to sit and call everyone. Lexi has been cute and will point to my tummy and say baby tummy!! She went to the doctor with us today and thought it was so cool that we saw the baby and she got a picture of it. We will keep you posted as the pregnancy progresses!!

Hot tub me?!?!?!

Lexi found her new favorite thing at Grandmas house... the Hot Tub!!! Uncle Tyson got in pretty much every night with her and some nights Grandpa and Daddy joined. Poor Tyson heard pretty much every second of the day, Tyson Hot tub me?!?! Tyson really has a soft spot in his heart for her and ALWAYS gave in. I think someone has him wrapped around her finger! Yesterday in the car she kept saying Tyson home?!?! I think she misses someone!!

We really had a blast in Pa and were sad to have to come home, especially to real life work/ etc. Thanks again Grandma, Grandpa, and Tyson for letting us stay with you!!!

Big scary Dinosaurs!!!

This dinosaur museum is seriously a mile from my house or less. Its supposedly the biggest in the country. Paul and I have been here before but that was before a kid. It is very kid friendly with lots of activities to keep them busy.

Our little peanut sitting on triceratops foot. Shes about as big as one of his toes/claws.
They have this huge sand/water play table, where you can make little islands and put play dinosaurs and little trees on. Lexi LOVED this, she was a little to short to reach herself though so we had to hold her.
I'm thinking she LOVES this little guy.

We are thinking about getting a pass next year to thanksgiving point which includes a few other things to do as well as the museum. Its so close and relatively cheap why not. I recommend it to anyone.

We've been trying to do something fun every Saturday with Lexi. We decided we would try bowling. To our surprise she loved it and didn't want to wait for her turn. She has been so much fun lately, holding conversations with us, singing at the top of her lungs ( "Happy birthday to ME!) and just saying goofy things. We truly are blessed!

Paul and I were beat fair and square by Lexi. Paul and I used to be good bowlers but who knows what happened. Believe it or not i WAS on the bowling team in high school and won a trophy and everything now i cant seem to bowl over 100!!!
( dont worry i sound like a muppet on here!)

The fun of Camping...

Back in July we went camping up American Fork Canyon. Paul and I love to go camping but havent gone since Lexi was born. We finally got brave and took her. She actually did really well. She cried a little bit when we went to bed but loved to play in the dirt and put dirt in Jadies ( our dog) water and food. We went just friday and saturday but it was a nice little get away.

Lexi loves her ABC.. and loves playing with Courpy (Courtney) and Qinn (Quinn), who also got little 4 wheelers. They have had fun riding them around the neighborhood and its so cute to see these tiny little guys off and going on there own.

Lexi thinks now that shes got a ride.. that she has all this new found freedom. She will get on her 4 wheeler and head straight to Quinns house, park it, walk up the stairs and knock on the front door. I think she thinks she a lot bigger than she is. Its been really fun this summer meeting the neighbors which happen to have kids pretty much the same age as Lexi. We have been blessed to move in to such a great neighborhood.

Happy Late Fourth of July!! We hope everyone had a fun and safe holiday!

Lexi and Kade.. how cute!!

Our fourth of July was spent up in Park City. We were there the whole week for the McCoy family reunion. It was fun and Lexi loved hanging out with all the little kids, even though she is the only great granddaughter out of 10 great grand kids. I forgot my camera the first couple of days than I went home for the Poison concert and brought it back for the last day, so i didn't get a lot of pictures. We went to Jordenel Lake Monday, hung out and shopped Tuesday, Wednesday we went to Ragging Waters which was a blast, Thursday just hung out and Friday had a bbq and did fire works.

Lexi was afraid of the fireworks and while they were going off would sing twinkle twinkle little star over and over again. She was cute and would scream and say scary too. She finally started to get used to them when there were like 2 left. Oh well maybe next year she'll be more brave.

First of all I'm sad all these pictures turned out blurry. Lexi LOVES dress up, the other day we were in her room cleaning out her closet and she found her hula outfit and wanted to wear it so bad. So i gave in and we played for awhile she was so cute in it and would just walk around the house and start dancing. We truly are blessed to have her in our lives.

I haven't posted for awhile so i have some older pictures i thought i would put up. Whenever I'm cooking dinner Lexi is at my feet wanting to help. I used to let her help me a lot until if i didn't let her help as in, trying to touch the hot pans and stuff like that she would belt out this high pitch scream. So now she gets her own pot and i put some cereal in it and she pretends shes cooking along with me. Its sooo cute and she has a blast pretending to cook. Looks like a play kitchen should be one of our next purchases for her.

Hoogle Zoo!!!

Lexi loves Monkeys and Elephants, so we decided to take her to the zoo. We had a blast! We went to a bird show and spent 5 hours at the zoo looking at all the animals, riding the train, and eating lunch.

There was this huge world you could turn in the water which Lexi LOVED and spent about 20 min playing with it.

"Elafee!!!!!" says Lexi, they are one of her favorites.

This is just a little bit of what we heard ALL day at

the zoo. She was adorable and would blow kisses to all the animals. Lexi was exhausted after such a long fun day, that she zonked out seriously a min after we got in the car. What a fun day!!!

Discovery Park

Back on mothers day .. we went to discovery park and had a little picnic. Lexi loved being able to crawl in little spaces, swing on the swings, jump on the bridges and just loved being able to do stuff on her own. She really is growing up WAY to fast!!

"Bath tub outside!!" is what i hear all day long now since we broke out the pool. Lexi LOVES to be in her pool splashing around, jumping in, and drinking the water.

Its been sooo nice outside the past few days, so we have been outside NON stop!! Lexi has cute lil tan lines and as soon as she wakes up in the morning runs to the front door saying "Bath tub outside!!" I have a feeling we will be outside the whole summer!!

Paul was working on the CRX when we were playing outside. Lexi went right over and grabbed the screw driver trying to help. It was adorable and Paul LOVED it. I would say come on Lexi and Paul's like NO shes okay. I think he loved having a little helper.

Lexi turned 18 months this past week. She can say over 65 words and still a peanut. She weighs in at 21 lbs.. ( with all clothes, shoes, and a very wet diaper).. which puts her in the 8%. And is 31 inches tall.. putting her in the 31%. I can't believe shes a year and a half already seems like we just brought her home from the hospital.

Paul went to the pet store to get some snails for his fish tank. When he got home and showed Lexi what he had she wouldn't let go of the bag and was SO excited. She kept calling them Sishies. While Paul was putting them in his tank Lexi wanted to help SO bad. Here's what happened next...

A few weeks back Paul and his brother Kris and a few other guys went to CA for a race Kris and others were in. While they were there Paul's friend Kyle came down with his wife to see him. Paul hadn't seen Kyle for about 6 years so it was nice to see him. I didn't go, its just to hard with Lexi and the guys being at the race track all day or working on cars so i opted to stay home.

To pass the time we read books....

Lexi hated the bracelet they put on her leg and would cry every time she looked at it. (yeah we were in a hurry to leave... So yeah paul totally looks like a weirdo .. but what do ya do)

Last night Lexi went to bed and woke up about 8 burning hot. We took her temp and it said 103 so we gave her Tylenol and a cool bath and 4 hours later her temp still didn't drop. Like a panicked mom i went to walmart looking for something else that might help.. still nothing. The whole time Lexi's crying saying Owy Owy. Finally at 1am we decided to go to the E.R. Lexi was beyond tired but was a trooper. They took her back and looked in her ears everything was fine. They looked in her mouth and in a second was like wow look at this .. HUGE white bumps all on the back of her throat. They thought she had strep throat, so they took a swab of it and tested it (which she HATED and screamed MOMMY MOMMY MOMMY the whole time) ... . it came back negative which was good. They said she just had a viral infection and to alternate Tylenol and Motrin every 3 hours for the next 3 days. We finally left at 3am and Lexi was greatful to get to bed. It's seemed to work so far and she hasn't had a high temp since. I'm glad we decided to go to the E.R. even though it just turned out to be something treatable at home but it made me feel better.

Lexi has descovered her new favorite thing.. The Scooter!!! Paul takes her for lil rides around the house and the whole time she says, "WEEEEEEEEE!!!". Everytime we pass the scooter while getting in to the car or playing outside she starts in pointing and saying daddy weeeee! So watch out there is a future biker chick in the making.

Its crazy how fast they grow.... Today Lexi kept grabbing my phone wanting to call "Daddy" while he was at work. When we called .. she held a lil conversation saying puppy, HI DADDY, mommy, Jadie, pretty much a bunch of nonsense. Its the little things we'll remember most and miss when she gets older.

We went to Moab, Ut this past friday-saturday. It was beautiful weather and lots of fun just to be outside. We all ended up sun burt even lil Lexi. We went and watched the jeeps go up potato salad and jeeps go up a trail while Paul and Dennis filmed.
